Doing things lightly

You might be in the middle of summer holidays right now. Is there anything you've tried lately — lightly, without overthinking it?
The word kigaruni is written with two characters: 気 (ki, feeling / mood) and 軽 (karu, light). Put them together and you get the idea of making your mood light — approaching something without taking it too seriously. Kigaruni yaru — doing something lightly, without pressure.
Toriaezu yatte miru. Kiowazu yatte miru. Kigaruni yatte miru. Three phrases, all pointing to the same idea: stop thinking so much, and just do it.
Lately, my son recommended a role-playing game on PlayStation, and I decided to give it a go. It's anime-style, with a lot of battle scenes — not exactly the kind of thing I'd normally choose for myself. But when someone says "it's really good," I figure: why not just try it? The controls were a little tricky at first, but the world it created was genuinely interesting. I think I might be getting a little hooked.
And there's something quietly enjoyable about finding yourself doing something you never would have imagined doing before, isn't there?
If there's something you've tried lately — lightly, without overthinking it — I'd love to hear about it.
